Watching the Marshall at Rice game and the commentators are about 10 seconds ahead of the video.

Froze up completely at 5 minutes to go in game.
Oh, that wasn’t the stream, that was just our team.

I didn't get any sound at all until the under 4 timeout left in the game. It was synched fine then. Picture was good the whole game, but no sound.

Doesn't this fall on Marshall's A/V telecom production crew? It's not like CUSA has their own armada of telecom satellite trucks at any cusa event right?

I've heard lots of complaints across the board on cusa tv. Not a good option overall from the sounds of it especially when you have to pay for it. But nobody at the cusa office cares

Each school broadcasts their own games. None does a great job, but some are horrible. Nothing like "lets make noise graphics" with the game on the line.

They promote all this as the CUSA network, so they need to mandate some standards and punish those universities that can't meet them.

Most (if not all) of the games shown on CUSATV is video board streams and synced radio play by play. Western's Truck travels to the away games that have no coverage and beem it up and synced with Western's play by play. The games are usually on FCS 608

Compared to the OVC, CUSA's stream is awful...at least the games I watched. But then again picture quality...the OVC stream is clearer than what I get on FCS channel 608 through Direct TV

Game was at Rice. CUSA should have a standard that we all need to meet, including Marshall.

Watching our game last night with Stadium was hard on my phone, I had to refresh several times as video would periodically stop.....

your connection...

no voice for a couple minutes but other than that the Western vs UNT game was clear. A lot clearer than Western's games on FSC, at least for me. I guess Direct TV is not giving HD space for Western's FCS games, i don't know

That is pretty neat, but wonder why they don't do it in "HD" ? Is their a cost savings there ?

Don't have a clue on why but it must be on Direct TV end because those in BG watching on the Western station gets a HD picture

Must be your internet I had no problems at all. Suddenlink cable 40MG internet here.

ESPN 3 streaming was crystal clear, YouTube was also clear, and some random website I pulled up. The sound and video finally got together after I refreshed the page but it still was t clear video

I watched the whole game and didn't have any issues with lag or audio. I actually haven't had a single problem all year, aside from the week 1 hiccup. It seems the experience varies greatly between people. I think some can be attributed to poor internet, but no way all of it. I'm guessing their technology serving up the stream could use some improvement.

I don't believe these streams are scoreboard streams matched to radio. They were last year, but that hasn't been my experience this year.

Still better than nothing for us out of towners.

I'm not a techie so someone explain. When I stream ESPN 3 on my computer, the stream is fine, at first. After a while I start getting very bad buffering. If I log out and come back in, it's smooth again?
If I stream to my Smart TV thru ESPN app, I get no buffering Why?

My old high school streams all their games better, and it’s free to watch.

I've missed attending two UAB home games that were on CUSA tv and neither had streaming issues. UAB's campus has 100 gigabit internet service, so I wonder if that plays a role in it? I tried watching UAB @ USM and I only got 5-10sec of video before the stream would freeze. Did Reed Green not get the updated AOL CD-ROM from Walmart?
