I am not sure if you are using the term over-under correctly. Usually over-under implies a number value, typically a number of points or a number of wins, which a team has 50-50 odds of achieving.

If you are just asking the odds, I would guess there is a 20% chance it gets lifted.

Considering the manner in which the NCAA conducted itself during the unprecedented length of the investigations, I doubt that it will lighten the burden imposed upon the University. This was a cluster**** from the outset, made worse by two events completely unrelated to the investigation. The NCAA has proven again and again that facts don't matter nearly as much as achieving its desired result.

Ole Miss had to know at the time they were doing all this that they would be trading heavy sanctions for a few excellent seasons with the studs they were buying. Their cheating was pretty brazen and apparent to everybody at the time.

I don't blame them for trying to get the penalties reduced, but if they aren't then the Rebels at least know they got what they paid for.
