I would be so curious to see how high we could be if we had beaten Drexel, LSU, and Tulane all of which are bad losses now.

They're in, period. A top 30 RPI, they're already a 7 seed. Trying to work themselves in to a six or five. Had they played a tougher ooc they would be fighting for a top four seed.

Had we not had a fluke loss to Drexel and Tulane we'd be fighting for a top 4 seed. Is what it is. We have a good team, hopefully we're ready to play come March.

5 have losses ..even losing 2 or 3 of our last 6 and being 22-8 we are likely still in

losing out or 5 of the lat 6 is the only way we aren't making it now...

I just said win both next week and they're fine. Next week would be the only 2 games that could be a bad loss(and even Memphis probably wouldn't be).

Also true, you all have won games you weren't favored and lost some you shouldn't of. You all seem to be coming together and playing tough.

Tulsa will beat Temple by 10 points in the most important game of the century next month.

I knew my being able to not make the game or even watch it would mean we'd win. I've still never seen us beat UC in person!

Lunardi just said we're still a 10 seed but UC gets bumped from overall 8 to 9 (meaning seeding drops to a 3). Funny how that works. We win; nothing. UC loses, they drop.

Is that game the same time as Tulsa-USF then?

Haha! You can take your attendance smack talk and hang it next the big fat 'L' on your wall calendar for today! Lol!

And this was after half the arena rushed the floor.

RE: 2/15 AAC Basketball Games
I don't know how I feel about tonight. I'm confused. I'll just talk about what I know.

The Shockers made the 2nd biggest comeback from a half-time deficit in 43 years.

Wichita State shot 56 percent overall on 19 assists. Both teams had only seven turnovers.

WSU outrebounded Temple 34 to 25. (WSU is 2nd in the country in rebound margin)

Temple shot 63% in the first half - 11 of 15 from three!!!

Temple's 56 first half points are the most allowed ever by a Marshall Shocker team.

Temple's De’Vondre Perry, a 20% career 3-point shooter went 5 for 5 beyond the arc...

I can't remember the points in the paint disparity but it was something like 35-8 Shockers.

We're still not playing Shocker defense.

Temple seemed really, really good just like SMU...

Koch Arena effect perhaps.

Fun fact: Memphis and Uconn are the only two remaining teams the Coogs haven't beaten at least once this year... because we haven't played them yet.

But we only play them each once so each game is for all the bragging rights marbles.

They are the most consistently inconsistent team in basketball.

Cincy will still be top 10.

WSU will stay ranked and probably move up.

Temple is still on course for fourth bid.

UConn is hurting.

Tulsa keeps it's post season hopes up.

I think Temple needs to win out and take at least one in the AAC tourney to have a shot. Even that may only get the the play-in game.

RE: 2/15 AAC Basketball Games
seriously talk ..now that houston and cincy dont have to play again...someone from cincy has to step up as a scorer if they want real shot at a title

im not saying cincy is bad, youre an elite team...but if we are talking shot a national title/final 4 their are question marks...the tools are there

cincy has set up a great defensive system that demolishes lesser teams..but after the first round, there aren't any lesser teams ..everyone will punch back...
blowing out everyone might actually be hurting uc in the long run, no one is being forced to step up

cincy didn't score a FG for 12 mins, you can say houston was "fouling" but not 1 fool was egregious or violent or that hard or really even preventing you from shooting ..not a single foul on houston tonight would be called in a pick up game. that was the kind of contact you should be able to play through ...

people where making jokes about gray not scoring much, but gary clark was guarding him (arguably the best defender in the league)...evans was guard by gray..gray is a good defender not that good..he made 3 fgs all game

hoping the wichita gives cincy a game to make someone for them step up...yes your defense is elite but you arent winning title or final 4 on that alone..someone will find a way to score and you will need to punch back
