That's big time on South's part. The Jags are going to score a ton of runs this year.

Georgia State took a 2-1 lead into the ninth at Auburn and lost 3-2.

Man...GSU couldn't hold the lead. Texas State couldn't hold the lead. Arkansas State couldn't hold the lead (but came back and won.) Cajuns blew a ninth inning lead at Texas on Saturday.

And, the first two guys out of Georgia Southern's bullpen walked eight guys in 2.2 innings.

Pitching, anyone?

our bullpen sucks. We won't do anything this year in baseball. Our guys can't even throw a strike. I think we had 10 straight balls thrown at one point last night. Gonna be a long season.

Yeah it's gonna be a long one. It's a shame because we have some talented people at other positions, but without a pitcher, we're toast.

And with all of that ... Georgia Southern still should have won, but a defensive mishap in the 9th (poor communication) did them in.

I enjoyed finally getting to see JoJo Booker pitch in person. He was the 2nd highest drafted player not to sign a pro contract (5th round). He was touching 97mph. He still has to develop a little more, but he's going to be a good one down the road.

We need more from our starters. Our offense doesn't need much, but we have to be better than what we've been. The bullpen has been solid overall. We have a potent Auburn offense coming to town next Tues. Hopefully we can get our midweek rotation settled then.

This weekend will be average playing Hartford, but then Auburn should be good again next Tuesday, weather pending.

Had an additional 9,488 watch on JagNation TV.

Coastal up 13-0 on College of Charleston in the ninth. Started subbing guys early in this one, could been much worse.

Troy and Auburn tied at 5 in the 8th

Auburn now leads 6-5 going into the Top of the 9th... This is Troy's last chance...

Auburn may pull out a last minute win just like they did against Georgia State.

I know it doesn’t mean much yet but on Feb 22– today— the Belt is at #4 in RPI
