He's definitely my favorite EMU player!

RE: Vote For Tim Bond in Dark horse Dunker
I hope some of you will come out to watch Tim Bond at the Convo this Tuesday. Bond made two spectacular plays against CMU recently : 1) baseline dunk over CMU kid, and 2) big time block against shooter as time is winding down.

The MAC has no player that can match Tim's overall game. This kid would be a star on any College team. EMU is spoiled to have Bond, Minnie, and JT4. We don't see this talent in the MAC very often.

oh man, thanks for bringing up this dunk contest. i missed the original post somehow (despite checking this board 20 times/day). Bond should be up by a lot more. first of all, his highlight reel is dope. but also, the guy he's up against did most of his dunks during shootarounds. no contest.

You can vote once a day on each device. Been using iPad, computer, and phone each day. He's so much better than his competitor. He deserves to be there, keep voting. 02-13-banana

Tim's second dunk is an in-game reverse. the guy he's against's second "dunk" bounces on the rim a couple times before going in. the other dude also includes two dunks he did while warming up for a game. Tim should win this by a landslide.

I can’t vote twice even next day. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Can’t believe that guy is up on Bond.

Could someone ask the game announcer if he would be able to tell everyone to vote on game day? Fans could all vote during game and push Bonds percentage up. Even some NIU fans might vote.

Besides voting, everyone should stand and applaud him at 1000 points. I think JT4 made his 1000 points at an away game. ?? I'm gonna miss watching his high energy style play.

Good thinking here. Are you on Twitter? Chad Bush the radio announcer and Ryan Wooley the ESPN3 announcer are both active on Twitter and responsive to questions.

Good reminder to stand for Bond's 1,000th point too.

Tim is also two or three steals away from breaking Earl Boykins' all time EMU record.
Hoping we get to honor him during the game for both milestones on Saturday.

Not on Twitter, but I always sit 4 rows behind Chad and Ryan. I can ask them before game if they aren't busy broadcasting. Hope they can, and also Convo announcer. Stuff like this can build enthusiasm for the team, and in long run increase number of fans showing up. When people are apart of something, and they feel they can help team besides just watch, I think more people will return to watch.
