He is interesting to watch sometimes, though.

He's just too big and clunky right now.

He has nice touch for a big man and I think he is an asset for certain match ups. It is nice seeing him play after learning his background.

Pierre was WAY better than Azab. It's not even close. Pierre couldn't beat out Dorsey and Taggart. In this scenario he would be our starting center.

I just think Tubby should try to develop him more. He does have some upside.

He would be this year's starting center. Probably second leading scorer.

I think Azab might just be slow. As in, losing 30 pounds won't make him faster. If we were a running team, that'd be even more evident. He's not without skills, but as Saluki pointed out, Azab loses his height advantage against anyone about 6-8 or more.

I like Enoh. I did from the first vid I saw of him. He's got a long way to go, but he's improved a lot over the season. And he's quick, athletic, and at least average in his leaping ability.

At least Azab has an excuse for being out of shape. His injury and time off set him back. When he gets better conditioning, he has better size than Niles and has good footwork around the basket.

I like Enoh also. Just has needs some more development. Each of our freshman plus Azab have really good upside. Given time and a couple more pieces I still think that this team can be really good.

That seems to be a nice general statement, but what have you seen on the court that says that?

Enoh is averaging 1 and 1 and now is behind Azab on the depth chart.

Nickel is going for 3 and 2 and shoots 38% from the field and 22% from 3.

Johnson, the "3 pt specialist" is shooting 28.6% from three in conference play.

Azab can't stay with guys. As for "conditioning" he was cleared to PLAY over two months ago, so it's not like he should still be out of shape. That is just his shape. Heck he fell off a bicycle.

Anyway, these guys CAN (and will) likely improve. But honestly, there isn't much in their actual performances this year that indicates that.
