What a Culture........
We’ll be playing them again in 2 seasons...... Think Scott Frost will get them winning again? Looking forward to being in attendance for our next head to head. They have 90 thousand tickets sold for their spring game. It takes us all year to get an accumulative of 90k at HUSKIE Stadium . 03-banghead

He’s going to turn that program around. Top notch facilities. Many big $ boosters, that have gone “untapped” for a decade. Riley (somewhat), Pelini and Callahan never accepted the traditions and fan base. Walk on program was basically non existent for a decade. Frost is brining it back and in a short time has put together a very strong recruiting class. I’m a Husker alum and couldn’t be happier. NIU walked in there last season and kicked them in the teeth. Many will remember that.

Tough svihedule next year. 7 wins would be good 8 would be great. After that he will have them contending for the West.

RE: What a Culture........
Regardless of the Huskers having a down year, that was definitely the best road game win I've attended. Had an amazing time with both NIU and Nebraska fans before, during and after the game

Nebraska is steeped in tradition and a rich history. I got a complete tour of Memorial Stadium a few years ago, and it was very interesting. Saw their stadium hall of fame with pictures and memorabilia displayed. Went to the locker room and ran out onto the N at the 50 yard line (no, I didn't trip) through the door that the players come through. You look up at the stands, see the nosebleed section close to the clouds, and picture it filled with rabid Husker fans going nuts when the players enter the field. Nebraska football is indeed something special for their many fans.

I have a soft spot for programs that NIU and our Hard Way culture have owned: that semi-pro team down in Tuscaloosa, Nebraska, Perdue Farms, the Goofers......

Just bless their hearts.
