Didn't they just win @Purdue?

Yes that was their first road game since Jan 20th. They won by 1 point. The next road game was the PSU game which they lost by 23.

Well, we will find out. They are about to lose again. They'll probably still stay in front of MT. But we have ourselves to worry about tonight. We've never won at Tech.

BTW, I'm watching this game. Neither one of these two teams (UT or OU) run any sets sans a few pick and rolls. It's all street ball.

Should happen, this season everyone has 6-10 losses that are ranked....We have all saw what CUSA has done in NCAA tournament last 3 seasons? Why does this conference still get zero respect nationally? Just like football, our top team should be in Top 25 if nothing else....

RE: MT receives more Top 25 votes
MTSU deserves to be in the top 15 imho. WKU should be getting votes, as well as ODU if CUSA wasn't so discounted every yr. since Memphis left. A damned shame that the reputation of this conference by the power brokers of the media is in the crapper, a lot of really good basketball teams in this conference, ignored by the media despite any results. I'm hopeful that 2 teams will get to the big dance and then we NEED both to win a game or more to maybe change the opinions of the writers/media. And the next group needs to hit as many tourneys as they can(NIT, CIT, etc.) and beat some name teams. Lots of really talented players in this conference that have a shot at playing pro ball of some sort, a few even the NBA I believe.

Realistically we could hang with pretty much anyone in the country and probably could beat half the teams in the top 25 right now.

Here are this week's results of the teams ahead of MT in the Coaches' Poll. Houston beat Cincinnati so they'll be in the Top 25 unless they lose to Temple today. New Mexico St, right behind MT, lost twice this week so hopefully the Raiders will pull some so-called 'mid-major' points from them. Realistically the Raiders could get to 22nd-23rd.

#27 Texas A&M - lost twice (FALL)
#26 Florida - lost twice (FALL)
#25 Creighton - beat non-D1, lost to Marquette (FALL)
#24 Nevada - won twice (RISE)
#23 Oklahoma - lost twice (FALL)
#22 Arizona State - lost to Arizona (FALL)
#21 Michigan - beat Iowa (at OSU today, RISE?)
#20 West Virginia - beat TCU, lost to Kansas (EVEN)
#19 Arizona - beat Arizona St (RISE)
#18 Wichita St - beat Temple (at Cincy today, RISE?)
#17 Tennessee - beat USC, lost to Georgia (EVEN)

Last week, Texas A&M didn't have a single vote. They beat Auburn and Kentucky and jumped us. Arkansas beat Texas A&M this week, so guess what's going to happen? Arkansas, who didn't have a single vote last week, is now suddenly going to enter the top 25 ahead of us. Watch it.

And Kentucky beat Bama so we gotta get them back in there.

I also expect UCLA and Nebraska to jump us and move into the top 25.

I won't even be surprised if St. Bonaventure jumps us after beating Rhode Island.

Arkansas won't be in the top 25 lol. UK also lost to Auburn so they might not be back into it. UCLA and Nebraska might get more votes but they had no flashy wins. SBU could get in the poll.

I agree MT should be ranked, but who knows. I think Houston will lose @ Temple. Temple needs the win to get a tourney invite.

Hope you didn't wager any money on that prognostication.

Lol, nope I rarely bet, but even if I did not on that game. Temple is the most inconsistent team I've ever seen. They beat RPI no. 7 Auburn, no. 9 Clemson, no. 18 Wichita and then lose at home to RPI 111 Memphis and 166 Tulane.

CBS doesn't even have us at #26

Of course, the cheatin' Caliparis have moved back in

https://www.cbssports.com/college-basket...son-title/

Florida State, who got one vote in AP Poll this past week, and zero votes in Coaches' Poll, moves all the way up to 22nd

I don't think we will get in as an at-large, unless we win out and lose to ODU or WKU in championship game (even that will be "iffy")

This conference, as good as it is this year, gets ZERO respect. This is on top of 3 consecutive C-USA first-round wins in the tourney.

No TV = out of sight = out of selection committee mind
