ArkSt is the class of the conference and the jump only happens for two years...No doubt #2 for now.

The only reason you're hanging onto that two year transition period BS is because GS went to **** right after those two years. A splashy first season doesn't mean anything if you can't sustain the success.

I'll take three bowl wins and two conference rings over a flash in the pan entrance to the Sun Belt any day.

It wasn't a flash in the pan. It was the perfect example of an AD not making the right decisions, then doubling down on it after the experiment was shown to be a failure. We had a lot of the same players in place from the 14/15 run in 2016 and they were just completely wasted.

We were lucky enough to find a HC that brought us through the transition with a good group of core players (like you've had since 2014) and maintained the level of success we'd had with the previous staff.

App of all people should know that we have our ups and downs, but we have never been what one would call a flash in the pan.

All of us would hope to have the kind of stability you've had in your program that has helped contribute to your success. This will be the first year you've had to deal with massive experience turnover as well as replacing some significant losses on your coaching staff.

That being said, I'd argue that App is on pace to be better than Marshall's transition. The only thing that Marshall really beats you at is winning the conference and making bowl game in their first year so far, but the latter is impossible to do now with the transition rules.

You have to pay attention to who is posting certain things. This guy is starting to ruffle quite a few feathers on our board with stuff like this.
