Where will the Bearcats be today? I think with tOSU and TT coming on strong lately, they may have bumped us off the 2 line. I have a hard time putting Kansas as 3 still because how they have looked, but their computer numbers are still legit and their overall body if work is still nice.
1: Virginia, Nova, Xavier, Mich. ST.
2: Purdue, Auburn, Ohio State, TT
3: UC, Clemson, Duke, Kansas
4: Rhode Island, Tennessee, Gonzaga, North Carolina

hopefully I'll have time to finalize these later but my tentative prediction of committee's 16.
1s. Nova, Virginia, xavier, texas tech
2s. Michigan State, Purdue, cincinnati, auburn
3s. Duke, clemson, Kansas, Gonzaga
4s. tennesee, Ohio state, UNC, west virginia

Tex Tech as 1 is an interesting call, but honestly I can't say they don't deserve it right now. I just don't see the committee making that move, but we will have that I find out.
Gonzaga is a curious case as well, their RPI is 37. I know RPI isn't the end all, but they do have some nice OOC wins and not really any bad losses. They just picked up a good win vs St Mary yesterday.

I think that UC should be a 2 seed however the Committee has previously shown no respect for our school or conference and they will seed them as a 3.

I almost always ignore your actual rpi number. Gonzaga has big time wins. They are 9 kenpom. I think they'll be rewarded.

Nah, AAC schools be on tv more than a lot of P5 school. Also they seeded us and smu perfectly last year. If we beat smu last year, they dont make tournament.

GTFOH, they beat NOBODY but us. We beat them and they dont make tournament period. Unless you win your conference how hell you go make tournament without beating another tournament team?

Weirdly had UC swept SMU they may not have made the tournament last year. SMU's traditional resume was basically 2 wins over UC. That was about it. I think based on their resume and how the committee usually seeds teams SMU was actually probably a bit overseeded. However, UC had a resume of a 5 or 6 seed. I think committee basically said, we can't seed UC below a 6 and can't seed SMU below Cincinnati because they are clearly better and split the difference. People acted like we were screwed but our seed was exactly in line with our kenpom numbers.

I think the first 2 one seeds are set in stone. I think Xavier is close to that. I think the committee could go a lot of different ways on the 4th one seed.

I love this, typical:
7. Cincinnati Bearcats
Current: No. 2 seed (East)
March: No. 3 seed (No. 9 overall)
Comment: It's hard to imagine the Bearcats sweeping both of their remaining games against Wichita State, which is what it would take to hold this spot.

What if UC takes two of three from Wichita?

Sorry, I don't think UC sweeps WSU either. When we play @WSU we will have already sewn up the league title, #1 seed and it will be their SENOIR DAY. Let down by the Cats.

Koch Arena will be sold out and rocking for the UC game in Wichita. There is literally nothing else going on in Wichita so it will be the city's Super Bowl. It will be a very very tough environment to pull out a win.
UC didn't play well in the Shootout in a similarly hostile environment starting out way too slow and never recovering.
SMU will be a very hostile crowd today so if UC handles the environment well and comes out ready to play I will feel better about UC's chances of pulling off an away win versus the Shockers.
