I applaud Mick for using them in spots/matchups/change of pace, etc. They are both complimentary in what they bring to the table in term of their strengths. That is a positive for us come tourney time IMO.

The 13-14 team really didn't have a true PG at all. It was sort of shared between Guyn, a freshman Caupain who didn't play much. You could also go back to the 03-04 team that ran a mix of Kirkland, James White, Chad Moore, and Nick Williams at Point. I think even Field Williams took the ball up a little bit on that team.

It's a good win on the road which should only help build momentum going into the stretch with Houston and Wichita State X2.

Glad to have this one go our way so completely.

loses it's luster when a good team like smu is decimated. i'm sure some of y'all already said such. you sorta, silently enjoy these games. pretty neat having keith run the point for a spell. maybe mick might toy with that a bit next year as well, maybe groom him for his junior campaign in which he averages 20 ppg

What would SMU add?

It looked like he was asking about the player with the hand injury. I think it was genuine concern from my vantage point.

Mick said on the postgame, he was just thanking him for calling off the dogs and putting in our 2nd string.

Apologies if this has already been addressed. But why is a rookie/tryout announcing team first to inform me about UC's near record setting margin of victory. There was a time this team had trolls that cared.

Thanks for the clarification. Mick continues to be a class guy.

I've been a season ticket holder for just shy of 35 years now, and i have to say that this team all up and down the roster plays with as much enthusiasm and energy as any i can recall. All up and down the lineup guys look to pick each other up, and play hard regardless of their minutes. It's nice to see. If we can get Brooks and Scott to settle down and take their time we can be dangerous.

Completely agree on all counts. Great chemistry on this team. Also agree that the bench guys just need to take a breath and slow down.

I like the fact that even when full 2nd string was in, guys were looking to pass for the best shot. They weren't just jacking up the first open look.

I was glad when Mick brought JJ back in with a couple of minutes to go to bring a little order to the offense. It reminds you of what a real point guard can bring to the team.

This. I have said it numerous times. These guys seem to really enjoy playing together.

Bearcats finally making an appearance on Sportscenter. i'm sure it's strictly a coincidence that it happens to coincide with us being announced as a 2 seed by the Committee.

Yep. This has been an incredibly fun team to watch and a bunch of easy kids to root for all season long. If any UC fan can’t get that they will never be happy watching this sport no matter what.

Feel bad for Coach Jank. Tough to compete with all the injuries.
