Maybe Army is an extra game that is exempt from the normal count.

NCAA allows a 13th game if a team plays at Hawaii...

In any case, that is a challenging schedule with seven "away" games and six "home" games with one of those (Notre Dame) in California. Add to that, the only "directional school" is UCF who was undefeated last year.

Now that they are in the AAC, they normally only have one free date to schedule a non-conference opponent. Army, Air Force and Notre Dame are annual games for them and they always sell their home game in the ND series.
