They definitely have to win one of the next two games to still have a shot at the NCAAs.

If they are 19-11 going into the conference tournament and win their first game, they are near locks in my opinion. If they go in at 18-12, they may need to win 2 games. 17-13, they have no shot.

Nope. 17-13 with one Conf Tourney win gets them in.
Or 18-12 with a loss gets them in. They already have the big wins and the RPI.

Yikes. no chance

I was about to say let's keep the non-revenue sport chatter to the off-topic room but girl's basketball IS a revenue sport for the Husky's. I don't know how I feel about that - I'm leaning towards not liking it.

Just a bunch of girls exercising and getting a free ride to college in my opinion. I think girl's collegiate basketball shouldn't even keep score. Just toss the ball up and let them kick it around a while and then get back to the classroom.

Assuming they're on the bubble now that 7 game stretch above throws them way off the bubble. Probably a 3 seed in the NIT

RE: 2/10 AAC Basketball Games
Of course my opinion of volleyball is completely different. The girls are hot and show half their asses. The movements of volleyball are also more feminine and less distracting. Watching girls dribble a basketball and then attempt to hoist up a shot with their breasts fighting against their every effort is -in a way- comical, if not awkward.

Maybe. But 3 on the road and 2 neutral. That would get them in.

UConn just nearly lost to USF at home. They'll be lucky to stay within 30 today. They were a better team last year.

And they also have 4 questionable, if not bad, losses.

A 14 loss team from the American, even with a high SOS, isn't getting in.

I don't see a 13 loss team from the American getting in either. 12 is the number IMO.

Agreed.

Im not sure why LDF thinks it’s a lock they’d be in, but I bet he wouldn’t put his money where his mouth is.

They finished top 100 in KenPom last year. They'll be lucky to break 150 this year.

It doesn't matter how "good" a team is, Koch Arena is magic. After a few years the newness will wear off hopefully. But right now there is no more electric environment in the entire league so players naturally look forward to the opportunity. Some players will wilt under the pressure, some will shine. It's those that shine I'm worried about - especially since we've been Jekyll and Hyde lately with defensive effort.

UConn is going to play well. Mark my words. They're coming into Wichita to **** us up. Their coach "started the season over" last night. They are 0-0 coming into this game and are looking to put on a run all the way through to the AAC tournament.

we have that effect too on Memphis kids who leave home but return to play the Tigers...they can average 2.2 pts and 1 reb...but when they play us, they go off for 20 and 10 every time.
