I don't know Super, I believe he's a pretty darn good point guard, but flailing in Murphy's system.
I'm with you Luckey. He brings the ball up court and sees 4 guys pretty much standing around as we have no off ball motion. That's a tough situation to be in.

As I said not a floor general.
But Super, in my humble opinion, Jackson is a floor leader. The general is named Murphy standing on the sidelines with a I dunno what to do look on his face. He's sending in his troops I'll equipped to battle the opponent. Murphy has a few set plays but if the defense takes away one option the players get out of sync and go one on five.

My comment: Luckey says the same things about the zone defense and stagnating offense a little like a:

Just for discussion Jackson has 111 assists and 81 turnovers which leads the team. I think you would want a better assist to turnover ratio that than. I personally like Jackson taking to the hoop but he tries to dribble through too many guys rather than get past his guy and dish it off when its now a 5 on 4 game. We do spend a lot of time aimlessly nibbling around the upper arc eating up shot clock time. This has been a hallmark of Murphy's team no matter who was point guard.
Bond who has played point guard has 81 assists and 49 turnovers.
But honestly I don't think we've a real floor general since Talley Jr graduated. I'm not saying Talley Jr was the best point guard I'm saying Talley knew how to take control out there on the floor with his fellow players.

Yes Steve, you sound like a broken record too. I get it that those who don't spray the sunshine you like to discredit. Enjoy :-)

Sir, there is 10x more diversity in my posts then yours.
I post on virtually all sports (and other ) topics usually positive manner, but try to be informative and not laborious.
If we've head 10, 15, or 25 posts about the zone defense and stagnant offense the other hundreds here are repetitious.

Steve,
If you do not like my posts, don't read them. Enough said.
Couple thoughts on forums. I have been on forums for over 20 years (going back to AOL.COM forums in the late 90s after the Internet became widely available):
My thoughts are:
1). All posters are entitled to their opinion. That is what forums are about. Others may accept OR REJECT those opinions. Sometimes an off the wall post which is dismissed by the board isn't a bad thing. I dare say anyone posting that basketball could go back to Bowen would be dismissed out of hand by other posters. Some say "All things are possible" but I might add most things are NOT LIKELY.
2). Forums go better when they aren't treated like the U.S. Senate where folks can filibuster a topic to death or posters troll their own team or excessively vent. Posters usually don't go to forum for negativity, usually information. If someone wants negativity they can turn on cable television and watch political debates ad nauseum. I've turned that **** off. I love politics, public policy and came to D.C. over 30 years ago to work in government but sometimes negativity gets too much.
3). Some of the 'old timers' here remember the MLIVE.COM forum. It wasn't moderated and got to be a nasty, nasty place. I felt the need to leave and come here 14 years ago. Within a year or two, many other posters came here and the MLIVE.COM forum shut down. RIP. It wasn't moderated, didn't have ignore buttons, etc.

We had a coach like murphy in barnes and a floor general in Boykins. The players need to step it up and the general needs take cam and.
