I was noticing that, and I thought, maybe you make an exception for people representing 'Murica in something like this. I don't know... I guess we don't make an exception in war? You're right. It was improper.

It was improper--but the guy was obviously not even in control of his own emotions. I suspect he had no idea he was dragging the flag. It wasnt like it was some of protest or an effort to disrespect. I just think he was lost in the moment was not aware of the flag on the gound.
