Just use your belt. Or a 2x4 and a dowel rod if you want to get fancy.

People who like to burn through ammo and not hit a target have been doing this since Moses wore short pants.

It will just spur a black market for the item. It's just like the rule with Automatics. You can go to a dozen or so websites and buy one.

And heroin should be sold at Walmart. After all, anyone can get it.

Bump stocks. By my observation, they are an excellent way to increase fire rate while dramatically reducing accuracy.

America just isn't ready to have a grown-up conversation about firearms. When your focus is trying to stop something that is by definition quite rare you aren't ready for the grown-up conversation yet.

The world just isn't filled up with people pulling out long barrel firearms to knock over liquor stores, stop and robs, home invasions and shooting up the corner of your rival gang.

Firearm-related deaths fall into two fat categories.
1. Middle-aged white males dying by their own hand, sometimes with a cleaning kit helpfully opened nearby to ease issues with the life insurer. Handgun is primarily the weapon of choice.
2. Minority males under about age 25 who are either in criminal activity or damn unfortunate to live in a neighborhood where being a bystander hit by gunfire is actually a thing. Again handguns are primarily the weapon of choice.

Want to offer solutions dealing with category 1 or 2 that are compliant with 2A I am happy to listen. If you are interested in political theater to address a rarity spare me how much you care.

How does any of that have a thing to do with this topic?

The irony is that if heroin was controlled in its distribution by Walmart, the most dangerous shite of its kind would be phased out. You would also have clinics and appropriate rehab facilities as well.

Your comparison actually bites itself in the rear if you consider what statistically happens when you "allow and monitor" the distribution of a dangerous substance.

Millions die of lung cancer and alcohol abuse shatters lives, is what happens. Are you suggesting there would be less drug use and abuse if other dangerous substances were sold OTC ?
