After sitting down and exploring the changes made by ESPN to their fantasy NASCAR game i have decided against creating a league this year.

They changed to the stage format and will have in race line up changes and i figure it would not be a format i would want to support.

It would require that you sit at your computer during the race so you would not miss the breaks in the race which would allow you to change your line up.

Many people set their line up and then go and do other things and do not want to stop what they are doing in order to get back on line and change line ups. This will create an unfair advantage for some and penalize others.

Sadly Yahoo is NOT offering a NASCAR fantasy game in 2018. Thus there are no options for a fantasy league this season in NASCAR.

Will examine the Indy Car fantasy game on ESPN when it becomes available and will decide then if i will create a league.

Looks as if they have created games similar to the FOX game and Yahoo games. Some free games and some pay games. Is there an interest in these leagues?

I went ahead and created a league in the Slingshot Fantasy section(free league).

If there are not 15 people who sign up then everyone becomes part of open competition and league is deleted.

may not be listed yet, when i got confirmation email it said the posting of name is not immediately.

Midsouth 2018 is OFFICIALLY a league with the addition of several new members in the last two days. There are still spots open before the start of season on Sunday.
