UTSA lost yesterday 11-2. We won today 11-1, with game 3 to start in about 25 minutes. They've decided to make it a double-header today rather than play game 3 tomorrow.

This doesn’t take the sting away of 6-6-17, but obviously a very, very nice series win for us. Right up there with Rice in 2008. Glad we could finally beat State in something. Those guys have just owned us in everything starting with the 2011 Atlanta regional.

Powers was adequate (let a bunch of guys on but limited the runs) and Wright was very solid in relief. Not terribly confident in Keys tomorrow, but who knows? Would love to see us tee off on Billingsley after what happened last year.

Rice hangs on for a 5-4 win at UCF to cap off what I would say is an an above average day as a whole for CUSA.

Good gracious at that FIU score. Looks like Logan Allen got crushed.
