Even though I don’t like coach Carey right now, I like these kind of hires. Young up and coming coaches trying to make a name for themselves. They recruit well and connect with the players.

Yeah I'm ok with it. Surprising an up and coming coach is in fcs for 9 years though. Hopefully some can stay on if they are worthy after Carey is canned.

My gosh, he was hired at NIU and then shortly leaves for another MAC school before even getting his feet wet? Must have been a philosophical difference. Or maybe he likes the weather in Oxford better than DeKalb. I wonder if we'll "officially" hear about this from unnamed sources again.

Maybe he got tired of the 9 straight days of snow since he was hired and said I am out of here.

Strange move on that asst going 2 Miami. Martin is his 4th year and is on the hot seat considering he has not won anything. Strange career move.

Carey’s contract expires June 30, 2019. So this is currently his last year.

I like the Landry hire. Good offensive passing minded. Young.
