You didn't listen to the SOTU. He said for every dollar the Fed puts in, he'd like the states to match, and he wanted private investors. I don't think it's unreasonable especially if a stretch of interstate in Alabama is in need of repair to ask the state to spend some dough.

the cost is amazingly massive everywhere.....cost matching % is a must....job creation/tax revenue due to increased spending is the yield....

those concepts simply fly over the usual leftist suspects....

But back to the topic. I suppose this will be some way to get some more money back to liberal states, which are the only places with the tax bases high enough to get matching funds.

Or...Trump will just dispense with any rules and use a trillion bucks to expand Morgantown, WV's monorail system.

Yep, makes perfect sense to me.

See Trump understands construction costs cause well he's a construction guy. The last guy tried infrastructure construction was a community organizer. CB well I'm not real damn sure what he does. I get it.

I think for once we can have a decent conversation based on the bolded. The problem with saying lib states will flourish is that most of the lib heavy states are in financial disarray.

When is Trump going to actually do something about infrastructure instead of trying to just sell everyone of it. He just gets to keep kicking the can down the road like those before him.

Uhhhh, do you not understand how this stuff works, either?

Appropriations must start in the House. They have to put together the package, Trump can jawbone it all day long, but in reality he can’t do squat on his own.

And the FIRST people he has to “sell” on it is House members and probably 10-12 resist senators.

Wait? Are you for this spending, or against it? So hard to keep liberals straight on this nowadays.

He's a leftist. You know they are clueless when it comes to Constitutional matters.

Yeah, and this group, which is a real uphill climb since it'll benefit their voters.
