Watching the UVa Louisville game tonight. Even though I am a UVa fan, first time I have had the opportunity to watch more than bits and pieces of their games this year.

I'm not convinced that UVa plays any better defense agains their peers than does ETSU. The marked difference I see is that UVa is superb at defensive rebounding so there are no second shot baskets. Contested shots drops the opponents shooting percentage, defensive rebounding drops the opponents scoring total.

Deadly and effective combination.
