Your little league team would be favored by 20 over Duke.

Actually, it's obvious you're not a Puke fan, because they have enough sense to not talk football smack to ANYOBDY.

Uh... actually, we jumped 4 slots in our off week, because 4 teams ahead of us lost. The ECU game was two weeks ago.

P.S. This isn't the smack board.

P.P.S. Duke sucks.... but I guess you get some vicarious thrill out of the other members of your conference.

P.P.P.S. You're violating the CUSAbbs AUP. Oh, Mods???

Who was the last Duke player taken in the 1 or 2 round. I can think of plenty from S. Miss, UTEP, Marshall, ECU, ect.

We must be doing something right to put players in the NFL. If your site is correct the last person drafted fom Duke was in 1982, do you realize how many draft picks there have been since then. For you to talk smack on here is pathetic. Why don't you take your lil 4 inch Blue Devil and hit the road.

By the way your lil league team couldn't beat an egg.

Duke is only a nick-name so you can go off on the Blue Devils all you want because I could care less about them.I would have killed to go to school there because unlike that useless piece of paper they give out in W.Virginy,a Duke degree actually means something. All I am saying is that utep and s.miss accumulated decent records on bad teams. If Southern Miss had even played Marshalls schedule, they wouldn't be 6-1 and they wouldn't be ranked.Excuse me for stating the obvious but S.miss needed overtime to beat Houston and got spanked by an average Alabama team. They would not compete in the SEC this year.

An honest question, not a bash, just curious.Has there been any attempts by either side to schedule games between Smiss and ole miss or miss st.?And would it be beneficial or futile to do so?What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Houston would compete in the SEC and so would any school in here you piece of work, your a tool you know that. You know why they would compete. Just like Trev Alberts you keep forgetting they would have the advatage of the SEC BCS money and recruiting.

Ole Miss and Miss. $tate
have run from USM for years.

And this from a Memphis fan.

They will only play them in baseball.

Eagles.....lay some facts down on this question.

It's as sad as Arkan$as refusing to play ASU in anything.

Like I said it was an honest question.Don't get bent out of shape.I am not criticizing your schools. You should always be proud because a win is a win, but we are discussing how strong your conf. is not this year and how certain teams are unfairly benefitting from inconf. record inflating.Wake Forest or Maryland would even be sitting at the top of Confusa right now.

How's Tim Couch doing, you know the QB from KY..... Ohhhhh thats right he's not. He lost his starting job, couldn't find his way onto the Packers Roster and is out of the league. Ummmm Marshall has 2 starting QBs in the league, Leftwich and Pennington. And the Freak in Minnesota that catches balls you know the best receiver in the NFL Randy Moss. What do you have.

Catch you on the flip side clyde.

Take a look at the records...

Mississippi quit playing us when we started winning more often than not.
<a href='http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/div_ia/conferenceusa/southern_mississippi/opponents_records.php?teamid=2039' target='_blank'>Southern Miss vs. Ole Miss</a>

We have a winning record against Mississippi State.

They claim that they have nothing to gain by playing us.... then they schedule Tulane, Houston, Memphis and any other C-USA team besides us.

Many Golden Eagle fans know they're scared to play us and so we've moved on to bigger and better things.

I'll take a 2-1 against Nebraska vs. a 1-1 in Starkville (or Oxford) and Jackson (one of their sticking points was they wouldn't come to Hattiesburg anymore) any day.

Sure we look at the same players in the area.
