My wife has watched this garbage since her babysitter when she was 5 or 6 let her stay up and watch with her. So she still does.

She had it on last night, I figured I’d sit in and see what it was all about.

I made it about 75 seconds.

Decided time was better spent going and buying frozen burritos and powerades for my son...

What rot. “We’re giving you puppies!”. Dumbfucks.

The two genre's I like and listen to the most, Metal - Hard Rock and Christian Contemporary don't even get any airtime whatsoever. Instead we have performances and awards to every made up dumb sounding name on the planet.

And then last year when they get a great performance of Gaga and Metallica, the screw up the production.

The Grammy's became a joke when Jethro Tull beat Metallica for the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Recording Grammy. That was 1989. The politics just makes the show that much worse.

Oh, cmon. Jethro Tull was heads and shoulders better than a head-bangers ball hair band. They even made the damn flute modestly cool!

it's one hand clapping. the democratic socialist progressives don't realize they are turning off half the nation... ratings drop and elections are lost when you live inside of a bubble and refuse to listen to your fellow citizens.

I have said it once and I will say it again. Hillary Rodham Clinton is the gift that keeps giving. I hope she lives to be 120 years old and that the democratic socialist progressives keep kissing her ring...

RE: Grammy Ratings: All Time Low
After supper last night my wife wanted to know what was on. Like Dunk's wife she always watches the Grammys, so I said "Are you serious? Tonight is Grammy night." She said "I know. Don't care to watch it. Find us something to watch." We ended up watching YouTube videos via the Roku. Stoney Ridger Farmer, Hollis Farms, and WTFarm Girl. Far more enjoyable in my book.

Maybe.

My oldest got me started watching Hollis Farms mainly for the hunting videos but I've got addicted and watch them all. Then I find myself watching some other channels that I have zero connection with just because they are entertaining as hell. Logger Wade for example. I have no desire to go into logging or running a lumber mill but he's just hilarious to watch.

The same here. There's something for just about everybody on Youtube, and like I said above sometimes you don't even have to have connections and something will suck you in.

If anything, Tull was probably one of the first progressive rockers out there. Tull and Rush probably got that genre going.

Tull is certainly nothing close to metal.

I've never met a person who says, "Let's watch the Grammys". I'll catch the performances in a few years if they still hold up as legendary.
