ODU running their offense efficiently while Rice is getting bogged down in a half court pass the ball around and around.

No halftime adjustments evident. Still doing what didn't work.

Rice ends the quarter on a down note 36 - 31 ODU

ODU has won their last 2 out of 3 and it would appear that they have adopted a physical style of play overall and combined with a pair of quick guards doing the scoring. Certainly have matched the intensity of their coach.

Iamemarco hits a 3 and Owls look to start shooting more assertively, narrowing the margin to 1 -- 31-30.

But it's short-lived, as the Monarchs move out to a 36-31 lead after 3Q.

Rice takes the lead 48 - 45 with 1:20 to go

And of course, ESPN freezes up...

Finally ODU makes a big mistake, assuming a ball rolling out of bounds would be theirs instead of picking it up.
