TXStateWBB (16-7/9-3) defeats App State 92-50

Toshua Leavitt is 18 3 pointers away from tying DI record with 6 more conference games left. Do conference tournament games count for NCAA records?

Panthers lead by 14 at the half in Little Rock. Hoping to hold on to make it 9 straight since dropping both games in the opening weekend of conference play.

Well, that turned into an epic beatdown...glad we're taking care of business against teams we have a major talent advantage against. I think it was 64-28 at one point, not sure if that's the biggest lead of the game, but that's a beatdown for sure.

Nine in a row, and we welcome the first-place Cajuns into the Sports Arena this Thursday. This is a big one.

We suck in games where you're not allowed to breathe on the other team without a foul.

GS vs. ASU game hard to watch. Already 50 free throw attempts.

Guess what. You might win because of free throws. God these refs suck. I

61 fouls and 73 free throws. Absurd.

The conference should be embarrassed that it let those refs on the floor. And that opinion wouldn't be any different if Georgia Southern had won.

Neither team was allowed to play basketball. That wasn't worth watching.

Might as well just let them play horse if they're gonna turn it into a free throw shooting contest.

I don't think you'll find anyone on our side of the aisle arguing to the contrary. Lord that was painful to watch.

And fittingly, the game came down to a foul on a desperation 3 attempt by Tookie Brown late with the Eagles down 3. Thankfully, Brown missed one of the free throws and AState holds on 91-89.

It was hideous to watch. One couldn't breathe without getting called for a foul. Thankfully for both teams it didn't go OT. The game ended with every major player for both teams on 4 fouls and Ike Smith already fouled out for GS. An OT Game would probably have ended 4 on 4 at the rate the game was being called.

By the way, that was our first win over Georgia Southern in basketball in like 30 years.

Toshua Leavitt is 18 3 pointers away from tying DI record with 6 more conference games left. Do conference tournament games count for NCAA records?
Can someone answer this question? I'm actually interested in knowing.
