Are you guys even watching this? I'm flipping back and forth between the NIU game and the women's game at 7-0 CMU.

Unpopular opinion re: the men's team: this team is actually super talented and should be very good. Watching them play is worse than having the flu.

When they went Wilder, Moore, Jones, Davis, Dugan I was like hey maybe this unit finds something and we get good, but then they get into halfcourt sets and run that stupid motion offense where you get Dugan posting up and it's just like oh nevermind. To have that unit and not just space the floor and let Dugan set ball-screens is insane. Wilder, Moore, and Jones could all be the ballhandler on PnR's but we just never do it. It's maddening.

If we lose this one today, something is really off. Toledo and Buffalo are solid, but NIU just isn’t good.

Playing just horrid defense here in the second half...

We are shooting nearly 60% and can't get away from these guys...

No matter what, these guys are playing their a$$es off!

Pretty good source told me redshirting Duggan was considered but they figured he wouldn't be here for 5th season if they did. The thought was fact is next year would be Duggans final year no matter what they did. I believe that is true. With the 5th year transfer rule and lax transfer rules about to be enacted the staff probably made good decision. Duggan will be a different player when he can pivot, right now he can't. He has added 25# to his frame. He is a great student and any top school would pick him up. McCormick was a bench player and went to a ACC school last year. Seth would be offered many B10/ACC schools even in second string role. Flying to majority of your road games vs. riding the big bus is a big deal for these kids.

Until they find out they're flying coach and in the middle seat on the 3 seat side. Then that bus with ample room to stretch your legs out doesn't look so bad.

I've probably flown more in my lifetime than 95% of this board-combined. I had Delta Sky Miles Gold, Platinum or Diamond on multiple years. It isn't the thrill it used to be 50 years ago, believe me. There is a reason you get those two free drinks in Domestic-First Class, because looking at the tray table in front of you gets REAL tiresome.
