RPI WMU 180 NIU 220
KP WMU 184 NIU 232
WMU favored by 7
No comparable common foes as games against Kent and Buffalo were at home and on road and on road and at home. Seems MAC road games are VERY TOUGH unless you are Buffalo. Non conf foe Milwaukee, Huskies lost to at home whereas Broncos won at Milwaukee.
Bronco fans are complaining their team is underperforming. Their scoring leader, Wilder, scored 40 in last game. Huskies can't let that happen.
Going to be tough but game is winnable.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Done very well at home. Time to steal one on the road.

Noticed last Friday WMU had a home hockey and hoops game on national tv simultaneously. Crowds seemed good enough at both.

Played stupid the last two minutes and lose by 7.
It sure looks likes the pressure is getting to MM during the time outs. Another losing season for MM with Michigan State bubbling in the background.

Lost the game when they gave WMU 3 offensive rebounds on one possession down 4 and WMU hit a 3 to push it to 7. Played much better on the road game themselves a chance to win.

I think they actually are looking more like a 16-17 win team as opposed to the 12 win team I thought they would be.

Desperately need a win Tuesday at CMU and come home for 6 of final 9 MAC games. My high ceiling for this team was to host a first round game and that’s still in play.

Need one on the road to cancel out the Buffalo home game.

A nice effort, but I always have that sinking feeling that we will not get over the hump on the road. I admit It is a defeatist attitude, but it is what it is.

So is Jaylen Key just out for the season? It's end of January and he's still not playing.

Yes, Jaylen Key is red shirting this year along with Eugene Marlo Brown who is a freshman. Next year will have those two and Justin Lee from Georgia. Lee is 6’7 better ball handler version of Levi Bradley. Lee is the 6th ranked player in Georgia. He plays for one of the big schools.

RE: MBB @WMU
Lee received a Memphis offer shortly after committing, but hopefully he stays. If he is as good what looks on paper and in the last post, it could be a good year with Geno, Key, Bradley, and the solid guys like JT,Noah, and Thorpe. Hamilton and Lacey have potential to be consistent solids too. Anyhow, I hate looking forward to next season all the time but barring any change it should only be a better year

Over 3,100 fans at the game yesterday. What would it take for us to get an attendance of 3,100? (Besides a new coach, team, AD, marketing department, and video board.)

Are you concerned at all by ranking 343 out of 351 in assists as a team when your PG is your best player?

RE: MBB @WMU
Yes! The assists numbers are horrible but I believe this team wins 16-17 games in spite of that. I am very confident that they all come back next year which is the key to getting better. If they get to 16-17 this year and all come back and top players are healthy it’ll be a 20 win 2018-19 season and a top 4 MAC team.

I personally feel this has been Montgomery’s best coaching year by far. I believe he is getting the most out of this team. It’s certainly a lot his fault they are young again but with so many new parts to be this competitive is good!
