RE: WMU vs Omaha 1/26/18
Not quite sure how we can blame "the league" for our slide. Injuries and poor play have been clearly contributed. Good insight on the kid from SCSU. I suspect he'll have his head on a swivel at Lawson. Nice take on our guys taking the high road. Somehow, I suspect we may have revenge on our minds and I can't say I'd blame our guys. I wouldn't have been a very smart hockey player!

What was the final score on the 2nd game at UNO? The WMU Broncos website didn't bother to update it.

Because of our tough schedule we are still ranked but barely there, #13 in the pairwise and #15 in the USCHO poll.

If we dont get anything less than a sweep over Miami this weekend, i guarantee we will drop out of both polls.

We needed a win against UNO to make up for our loss to CC at home. Didn't get it. 03-banghead

The picture going forward; a split with UMD and St Cloud at home is going to be a must and winning 3 of 4 vs Miami and CC on the road as well should just creep us into the tournament. We are possibly getting one guy back this weekend and the other one by the time St Cloud rolls around. That being said our tending and defensive turnovers have not been anywhere near where it needs to be. We were out scoring teams to win before but have given up just over 5 goals against per game in the last 4 games against the bottom end of our conference . You cannot expect to win doing this especially with some of our best snipers out of the line up. The boys effort was good enough to earn at least earn a split this last weekend but what i mentioned above killed us.

The defense late in games has been just gassed and prone to mistakes... I don't put this on the goalies just yet as the defense has been leaving them out to dry more often than not...
