The talent disparity really showed at this game. Tubby ought to be ashamed of himself. At this point, I would even be sending Assistants out on recruiting trips even if there were a game being played. Tubby seems to only want to coach anyway, go ahead and JUST coach, and let the assistants recruit.

If Saul only did not lose that player to the Baptist Bible College maybe we could be competitive.

Sadly we have a roster of player who normally would not even be scouted by former coaches and certainly not offered.

Get all the calls? In the 1st half we were getting mauled every time down the floor. In the 2nd, maybe we got some calls. Our guys fought back tough from 17 down & 12 down to get within 4 pts, so not awful, but under manned for sure.

We got a ton of favorable calls.

It’s a team full of role players. I’d take just about all of the Jucos as my 2nd or 3rd guys off the bench. A roster of Crawford/Lawson/Lawson/Marshall/Martin/Rivers/Davenport/Brewton/Parks/Johnson/Nickelberry/Thornton would be a really solid team. I realize we wouldn’t have gotten all those guys to commit if Crawford and the Lawsons came back but still my point remains the same.

We would be much better and it would have been much easier to recruit the current class.

Having Lawson would have created more space for our guys outside.

That is true...But they have plenty of space now...Lawson would finish 100x better than Thorton though.

Trolling my ass. I'm a die hard fan sick of seeing Tubby run this program in the ground. All the other bottom tier teams in American have not panicked like this in games I've watched vs Cincy and WE ARE PLAYING AT HOME. How the hell is that trolling?

By definition...

He is only posting things to try to get a rise out of people.

I could not care less about “getting a rise out of people”. I do like to hear opinions of other Tiger fans who have to be as frustrated as I am at this point in the direction of the programs. I think you are very quick to put tags on posters that you have no clue what kind I’d fan they are other than your off the cuff interpretations that most likely are wrong more than right. My credentials as a Tiger fan are not in question with those who know me. Only a couple of poster on here do know me and my passion for Tiger BB.

Tonight’s game was like the movie Groundhog Day. When we play a good team at home it usually gives this way. A really good team on the road have been historical blowouts (we have payed so few under Tubby). It’s become a cliche, but I’m really concerned about this program become another DePaul. It can happen and it’s there after it’s too late to fix it.

So you might want to think about before calling someone a troller without solid evidence. Such as the SEC/LSU fan who came on this forum last week and said LSU has a historically better program than Memphis. I was the only one to call him out.

First off my Troll reply was to Mem90 so unless you are an alias of Mem90 I am unsure of why you are so upset. He has an admitted history of Trolling, you seem far to emotional over what I said about another poster whom you don't know or Maybe you do know them better than anyone else. 03-wink

My mistake. Thought they were directed towards me. I’ve been a little sensitive lately. Took a lot to get a rise out of me about anything until lately. Anyway, alls well that ends well. I may know two members of this forum and Mem90 is not one of them.
