RE: Week 4 of conference play.
You could feel how badly the Chi-State players wanted this by sensing the tension on their faces and yelling after negative plays. Gave it their all.

As did the fans. Small (~400) but lively crowd. Really got into it in the 2nd half which prompted the RGV fans to get loud too with their orange towels. The impromptu danceoffs in the stands were ridiculous and included old women stealing the spotlight. 03-lmfao

Fun afternoon.

Fun afternoon.

CSU has been on the cusp of winning so many conference games this season. They need to give it a little more and they could shock many teams this season.

It really was. UVU effectively shut down Braun, and they minimized Lever's impact. Also, way to bounce back from that long scoring drought to open the game. Lesser teams may have let that initial setback keep them out of the game. Good job, Wolverines. Well played today.

Not much from game. Just wanted to say I thought it was very classy for NMSU coach to wear #teamlauren shirt

Honestly I can see some potential in UMKC. They have some speedy athletic guys. From what I’ve seen so far they could be the fastest team we’ve played in the WAC. They just lack size and experience. Next year they should have a pretty good team.

Next season, UMKC should be vastly improved. They only lose guards Broderick Robinson and Robert Knar while adding a lot of size in George Mason transfer 6'10 Junior Danny Dixon, Bethune-Cookman transfer 6'8 Sophomore Brandon Suggs, 6'7 JUCO Jamel Allen and 6'8 frosh Will Magnum. That "should" give the Roos the inside scoring punch they lack this season.

Will UMKC keep Richardson? He is in year five with a record of 60-91 at UMKC. He is heading down the same path as Dollar did.

I think they give Richardson one more year. There only playing with 6 scholarship players right now. Did anyone see they predicted the score before it even started of 613 to 0 on WAC network. Made me laugh.

Off topic a little and maybe a little bias, but I do think the roos have the best announcers in the WAC.

RE: Week 4 of conference play.
I'd say every WAC school besides Chicago St have good play by play guys with knowledgeable color guys as well. The new guy for Bake isn't half bad but is better than Corey C.

Kareem Richardson will probably given an extension I bet but he won't just sign on for a 1 more year I think he gets a 3 year extension. So it give both sides some flexibility if it doesn't work out. Richardson is making bank for what he has put out there in his 5 years so far. Does he take a pay cut to stick around if they do bring him back?

I do think UMKC is very fast and hopefully next year they look more like SU does this year and less like CSU this year. Injuries are part of the game hell last year GCU were down to 6 or 5 scholarship players for a stretch if I remember right.

Anyways the WAC and its fans want as many strong teams as possible so Im hoping next year the WAC goes undefeated against non D1 schools and every school gets a D1 level win by WAC play.

Also we might have seen the last of Shaq Carr as a GCU Lope and as a student athlete.

What do you know regarding Shaq Carr? I’ve only seen him in street clothes. No one is saying anything.

I really liked UMKC's uniforms. Looked a lot like the GS Warriors. I also like the skyline on the court. Sometimes that can look gaudy, by KC did a good job adding it in there in a nice way.

It also seems like Kerwin Smith has been tossed aside. Like I said before Majerles expectations were through the roof and unrealistic for GCUs first year of eligibility. They still might get hot and win tourney but I doubt it. Im sure constantly fantasizing about Dwayne Russell in public doesn't team morale either. It's borderline weird. He sounds like those stupid parents who tell their kids, "why can't you be more like your brother or sister". Yeah, real good strategy Dan.

They are a knockoff of the Seattle Sonics Skyline logo...

UmKc's munci, court design, and jerseys all came across as top notch on the WAC DN,that is when the steam was working.
