That's going to be such a tough stretch. There is a decent chance we'll be 22-2 heading into those 3 games though. If we can come out of that week at 24-3, I think we'll all be very happy.

Which would mean it would be 2 years in a row UC makes it to 22-2. Let that sink in for a minute.

The fact that St Marys jumped from NR to 16th with only a win vs Gonzaga is laughable.

That's the downside of of backloading the schedule. They are great games to prepare for March but if you lose a few you can drop quick and have minimal time to right the ship.

The rate ranked teams are losing...if UC and WSU win out...they could still be a Top 10 match up.

If we can find a way to not drop any of the next 4 we could very likely be Top 5 heading to Houston.

Interesting that Cincy started #11 this season in the AP and at 17-2 is ranked at #9. Last season they were unranked pre season and at 17-2 were AP #19. Up to AP #14 at 19-2 last season. We’ll see what Monday brings. Just goes to show how preseason rankings mold perceptions.

Uc's advanced metrics are way better this year than last which surely drives the voting numbers as well. Laat year uc was never reality a top 10 caliber team.

I don’t disagree, but it doesn’t seem to matter much for the media. To them, all that seems to matter is that UC didn’t beat anyone.

Ond again...that media everyone says focuses on the fact that UC hasn’t he’s en anyone is going to rank UC 6th or 7th this week. WVU beat Virginia at home but their OOC SOS is 50 spots lower than UC’s.

Keep winning and nobody but fans care who you beat.

Yes, I agree. But its still frustrating. We know how good this team is, but it seems they always come up with whatever excuse. Mich St has two OOC wins #71 Nortre dame and a 6 loss UNC. Of course that 6 loss UNC is soooo much better that a 7 loss @ UCLA. According to them because of the RPI differential. While true to an extent...UCLA was still a great win.

So much for that. When Sparty is on, they might be the most dominant team in they country.

We are rated in the top 10 and climbing....I don't see how this reflects a 'we don't get respect' attitude? Who cares what some dude at a house party thinks lol. He isn't a voter in any poll. Further, to date, the metrics the NCAA boys use on selection Sunday are all very favorable for UC and seeding. Sure, long way to go and we have to keep it up but anyway you slice it, this season is UC's to control right now. The Cats are in charge of their own destiny.

Talk about difference in scheduling and what your league means: Xavier has 7 top 50 kenpom wins, UC has one. Damn. That's how you get a high seed.
