FAU
Saturday 2:00 in Boca Raton: FAU(9-9, 3-3 CUSA).
Results to date: USF (59-60); Edward Waters (91-59); Towson (52-76); N Illinois (67-77); Missouri St (60-71); Ave Maria (54-91); Bethune Cookman (93-75); FGCU (92-88); Webber International (106-46); Arkansas St (63-64); Texas Tech (90-54); Minnesota (60-95); FIU (57-58); UAB (44-75); MTSU (57-61); UTEP (66-73); UTSA (69-73); Charlotte (75-64).
Last game: FAU finished the first half with a 12-0 run to lead 38-25 and held Charlotte at bay the second half to win 75-64. Justin Massey led the Owls with 19 pts (17 first half), while Amir Smith, William Pfister and Jailyn Ingram had 11 each.
Stats: 70.9 pts (vs 68.8); .415 FG (.328 3s); .723 FT; +1.6 RB; A/TO= .900
Starters (Charlotte)
F Jailyn Ingram (6-7 215 So). 28.1 min.; .373 FG (4-22 3s); .667 FT; 4.5 RB; 9.4 pts
F William Pfister (6-10 230 Sr). 23.6 min.; .517 FG; .455 FT; 5.9 RB; 3.6 pts
C Ronald Delph (7-0 245 Sr). 26.8 min.; .461 FG; .690 FT; 9.1 RB; 2 blocks; 12.8 pts
G Payton Hulsey (6-5 215 Sr). 21.9 min.; .402 FG; .692 FT; 3.8 RB; 2.7 assists; 1.7 steals; 6.5 pts (4 starts)
G Justin Massey (6-4 190 Sr). 24.4 min.; .370 FG (42-125 3s); .769 FT; 2.5 RB; 13.3 pts (4 starts)
Bench
G Anthony Adger (6-1 170 Jr). 22.6 min.; .363 FG (5-34 3s); .848 FT; 2.1 RB; 2.8 assists; 7.0 pts (14 starts)
G Gerdarius Troutman (6-3 175 Sr). 28.3 min.; .435 FG (47-107 3s); .865 FT; 2.7 RB; 12.6 pts (14 starts)
G Devorious Brown (6-2 195 So). 9.7 min.; .348 FG (0-5 3s); .857 FT; 1.0 RB; 1.7 pts
F Amir Smith (6-6 210 Jr). 10.1 min.; .520 FG; .250 FT; 2.8 RB; 1 block; 3.4 pts
A change in the starting lineup (Hulsey and Massey replacing Adger and Troutman) has had a positive effect (3-1). Defense is disruptive, opponents have more TOs than assists (251-221). Team avgs 4 blocks/g (#5 CUSA) and is strong on the boards (#4 CUSA in ORB and #3 CUSA in DRB). FAU is not a big threat from 3 (#13 CUSA in attempts and %).

Mabey given their size we will speed it up and get down he court before their big guys can get down the court and set up defensively.

RE: FAU
FAU is about 20 spots ahead of FIU in kenpom, so I suppose this is the more difficult one of the two games in Florida.

Then we need to rebound and shoot free throws better this time. At least in the first half.

CUSA TV appears very broken in chrome for me today. Internet Explorer works fine but our game still isn't listed.

RE: FAU
If a game is played on C-USA TV, but no one pays to watch it, did it still take place?

Yeah, what's up with that. Someone needs to pick a start time for these games. Hey, I used to remember when our games where on regular TV. Not since we joined this dumpster fire. Historically bad decision. Rant over.

1. You should check to see how many CAA games are on normal TV this year. They don't have a deal with Comcast anymore.
2. Our game actually starts at 2 pm...

Yeah, people have gotta stop acting like the CAA of 2017 is the same as the CAA of 2011 or 2006. VCU, George Mason and Georgia State are out, and JMU isn't going to be there forever (probably). ODU staying wouldn't have done a thing to change any of that.
If people honestly think a CAA with a core of William and Mary, Towson, Delaware and I guess UNCW is a better long-term bet for basketball success than a CUSA with Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, UAB, Marshall and Louisiana Tech (with an eye on Charlotte, UTEP and Southern Miss to return to former glories), then I don't really know what to say.

From a national perspective all of the highlighted schools are in the same category. Dirtbags all.
From my perspective I'd rather play someone where I can drive to the game rather than the rare TV option or Ted "did you see that" on the radio.
