Of course you have a reason.

You're a genius just like Trump and no one understands you because you are on a whole other level.

After the way you are made to look like a fool daily on here, I wouldn't question anyone's intelligence if I were you.

Am I going to have to go into explaining the difference between intelligence and education again? For like the 47th time?

I need a good laugh, so yeah you do need to explain it to us "ham-and-eggers" again.

Look at the freaking Middle East. Very little oil pumped over there lands in American vehicles or power our electric generators. We spend a huge amount of money trying to keep that part of the world stable, not because we need the oil but because Europe and Asia need it.

If we paid for what we do just in that region with a gas tax we would have to pay an additional dollar a gallon for gas and diesel.

We are borrowing hellacious amounts of money "to lead" over there.

Well screw that.

Agree, and the one thing that Trump has done that I've agreed with is not get us into a war we don't need to be in. So far.

The only one that might be said to "run over the USA" is China, or maybe Russia. We've done nothing under Trump to change that.

Ham and eggers?

That's a good one. I'm going to have to use that one on one of my "rural" friends next time I see him.

Is that important? I'm not being flip, and I'm not dismissing your point.

Our economy is strong, we're essentially energy independent, and we're well defended. Is it important for us to be a leader? Do we suffer if not? I'm inclined to answer no to the first question and not really to the second. But perhaps I've been listening to Peter Zeihan too much...

It's just that, if it doesn't matter now, it doesn't matter when a Democrat is president either.

Yep

The less the USA is a stooge to the CIA/Military Industrial Complex the better. The entire Syria mess was about where a pipeline should go. Stay out of it. I will give the CIA credit in the Americas though, batting average much better than MENA.
