1/17 Games
3 games tonight-
Villanova @ Georgetown 630
RPI impacts
Nova- current 4. Win 4 lose 7
Georgetown- current 161. Win 133 lose 159(improve even with loss)

Seton Hall @ Creighton 830
RPI Impacts
Seton Hall- current 11. Win 10 lose 14
Creighton- current 29. Win 25 lose 36

St John's @ Xavier 830
RPI Impacts
St John's- current 74. Win 57 lose 68(improve even with loss)
Xavier- current 5. Win 6 lose 15(will decrease even with win)

so looks like the big one tonight is Seton Hall/Creighton. For Xavier it's a no win situation tonight.

RE: 1/17 Games
pretty big win for Creighton last night.

Was kind of curious to look at the rpi estimater and compare to the actual results-
Nova/Georgetown- Nova- projected 4, actual 3 Georgetown- projected 159 actual 160
Seton Hall/Creighton- SH- projected 14, actual 13 Creighton- projected 25 actual 23
St John's/Xavier- SJ- projected 68, actual 70 Xavier projected 6 actual 5
by and large pretty close. Pretty nice tool I think.....

RE: 1/17 Games
did it with the AAC games as well last night.. so 7 games total or 14 teams. Of the 14 teams- 9 were projected within 1 spot of what they actually finished with, another 4 were at 2, and only 1 was off at 3 spots. That's pretty impressive I think- and I would think it'll get more accurate as teams are spread out a bit more as we go along.
