KSU Men's Basketball - Taishaun Johnson
Anyone know the story here? Allen Moff of RC said that he is on campus still, but hasn't been practicing or dressing for team games. It seems as though he isn't injured and he sat out last year @ KSU, so he doesn't have a redshirt year to burn. I thought he was supposed to be a change of pace/different player (left handed with different skill sets than Zabo, Ridenour, Avery, & Walker)?

Keep in mind that whenever a player signs with Kent State we hear all of the good...unique game, difference maker in one way or the other...all that jazz. Regardless, I doubt the circumstances here have much to do with basketball ability.

Former Flash alert: Taishaun Johnson is playing for Prairie View. Coming off the bench. I believe he started quite a bit during the regular season also. Good for Taishaun for making the tournament.

Speaking of which - Raasean Davis closes out his college career by scoring 20 in the NCAA tournament. His North Carolina Central team lost to North Dakota State in a play-in game. His 15 ppg and 9 rpg would have been good to have a Kent State over the last 2 years. He turned out to be a quality player. He was All-MEAC first team this year, second team last year.

20 pts last night and a First Four record 16 rebounds. He most definitely could have helped.

He wouldn't have been here the last two years. Had he not transferred last year would've been his senior year. Still point taken, he turned into a very good player and by all accounts he was well liked while here. Would've been really nice to have him on that NCAA team two years ago that wound up playing almost exclusively 4 guard lineups down the stretch.
