I smell judgments/verdicts exceeding $100 million. Possible "death penalty" for gymnastics. Prison for some. School should be forced to change its name to (M)ichigan (S)exualassault (U)niversity and/or L.N.U. (Larry Nassar University)! Sparty, you may have to return your diploma. Even (P)enetration (S)tate (U)niversity is chanting: "LARRY, LARRY, LARRY!" Jerry and Larry should be cellmates!

MSU is lucky to be in the PIG10, lots of money there for them to go after.

(Of course, if they didn’t have money they probably wouldn’t end up being sued though).

With as many people involved to actually pull off this coverup, I wonder if a school could go bankrupt because of it?

If the judgments exceed the insurance reserves, and endowments, moo-u may have sell buildings and layoff personnel.

No matter what, it looks like it’s going to be expensive.

I know moo-u has appropriated 10 mil for just legal expenses (so far).

With the olympics coming up next month, it will be interesting to see how this is addressed in the media covering the games.

I’m thinking a big ole black eye for MSU is going become a brutal beat down here in a couple weeks coverage wise.

Chrissakes, Sandusky got 30-60 for ten boys. Nassar digitizes 150+ girls and only get 60-175? How does the judge rationalize this sentence? Oh, that's right, he's a "doctor!"

The amount of cover up/amount of people who knew but didn’t say anything has GOT to be huge just because of the sheer number of the victims. And I’m sure there are still some that haven’t come forward due to the embarrassment of it all. This was a coverup on a scale that pales in comparison to Penn State’s Sandusky.
