Not a terrible idea. He did well at UCLA and did well at St. Johns. What was the reason for the split between him and SJU?

They were pretty piss poor before he got there, he went to some tourneys and had them going in the right direction, now they are piss poor again.

He needed to resort to a booster giving Rysheed Jordan's mom a job in order to land good recruits.

Kind of like Temples head coach resorting to offering a top recruits father a coaching job in order to sign him. Until he was forced to withdraw the offer.
