we went from a 4.4 5'10 qb whos biggest skillset is running..a to 6'4 qb who couldnt run in a play action offense

I know he didn't work out in Houston, but I would also take Kyle Allen in a heartbeat on this current UC roster.

We've had lots of semi-recent qb transfers many of whom were 4 stars, Beaver, Green, President, etc. The only one who did anything for us was 3 star Texas transfer GJ Kinne. Hopefully the transfer I mentioned earlier(Smith) will be the 1 out of whatever that turns out for us. But you can't count on that or you will be disappointed more times than not. It usually ends up being a little bit of a crap shoot on highly rated signees that didn't work out at a P5. That's all I think anybody is saying. Nobody usually turns down that crapshoot cuz the 1 out of 5 is usually worth taking a chance on. So good luck to you and good luck to us!

Good for the Tigers. At this rate it will be Memphis and UCF as the front runners to move up.

Yeah, President wasn't a transfer but a signee that had previously been a committed to Baylor. I wish he would go back to wr, soon!

Beaver's issues were both academic and on the playing field.(He pretty much sucked as a QB.)

We were 10-3 because of our offensive line and running backs that year(Cody Green) You could almost say we were 10-3 despite him being our QB. Look at what he did the next year when OL and RB's graduated.(Fail) We finally replaced him way too late in the season with Dane Evans.
