Might as well start with this gem. Welcome to the Airport Hyatt for your meeting. Real nails in the drywall to hang stuff. Very classy.

What does the visiting locker room at Fifth/Third look like (prior to the renovation)? I have no idea. I'm guessing it's better than that.

Garbage. This is another sign of why UC is already primed to rejoin the power conferences, and why UCF is not: our athletic department is not a one-trick pony that has simply lucked out by catching lightning in a bottle twice.

RE: Cincinnati Bearcats at Central Florida Game Thread
UCF might have the biggest kenpom imbalance I've ever seen. They are 4th in adj defense (right behind uc) and 278 in adjusted offense.

Out of the top 7 kenpom conferences there are only 3 teams worse than UCF in adjusted offense (ECU, USF and Rutgers)... They are 4th nationally in adjusted defense (behind UVA, Texas Tech and Cincinnati). I can't remember a similar offense/defense differential.

They do get their best offensive player for the first time all year. Taylor had 27 points in 40 minutes against us last year when they beat us. Taylor clearly isn't as good as Kilpatrick but given the relative talent around him, removing him from UCF's offense probably produced a similar dropoff you would have seen if UC removed Kilpatrick in 2014... that is to say...an already flawed offense would really struggle. UCF will improve significantly on offense when Taylor resumes his role at full strength. Probably won't be tonight, but who knows. Lord knows they can't get any worse on offense.

Classy.

In case we lose, hopefully, there are no claw hammers laying around. Would hate for one of the players to pull out the lockers, err, nails out of the wall....04-jawdrop

At least there's no drinking fountain in the vicinity.

To the surprise of nobody.

I walked through Ohio Wesleyan last summer, they have better locker rooms despite being division III and their campus is ancient and dumpy/falling apart.

RE: Cincinnati Bearcats at Central Florida Game Thread
I remain confident in this game. I believe we've seen enough of T. Fall to adjust and pull out the win on the road. If Taylor plays any significant minutes, I just can't believe he is in mid-season form. It may be a close one but I like how this team is confidently playing with no panic even in a rock fight. As Mark pointed out, the Kenpom disparity for UCF is just unreal comparing their adjusted offense and defense rankings. Tale of the tape:

Cincinnati
15-2 (4-0)
L10 8-2
L5 5-0
#12 AP
33 Live RPI
8 Kenpom (46 AdjO/3 AdjD)
10 Sagarin (0-2 vs. Top 25/2-2 vs. Top 50)
Evans 13.9 PPG
Clark 12.5
Washington 10.9
Cumberland 10.9
Broome 9.1

UCF
12-5 (3-2)
L10 8-2
L5 3-2
Unranked
58 Live RPI
78 Kenpom (278 AdjO/4 AdjD)
73 Sagarin (0-1 vs. Top 25/1-3 vs. Top 50)
Tacko Fall 11.6 PPG
A.J. Davis 10.8
Ceasar DeJesus 9.8
Dayon Griffin 9.1
Terrell Allen 7.4

If they win I'm sure they will storm the court and declare themselves national champions.

Isn't UCF's arena pretty new and nice. Not sure what's up with the lockers. Oh well, just a place to sh*t and shower after all.

I gots a bad feeling about this one. Dunno why.

Feels like walking into something that is a much bigger deal for the home team.

I think this game all depends on which Kyle Washington shows up. KW needs to hit some 3's early and open things up.

I think this could be a big game for our team's confidence. Outside of the UCLA game, we have struggled on the road this year. I certainly don't expect to see a blowout, but I would like to see us control this game wire to wire and win by double digits. That said, I'll take any W given the result when we played in Orlando last year.

The age old question, "if a game is broadcasted on CBSSSSN and know one is able to see it, did the game actually happen?!?!"
