It is sad that an once actual sports network has become more entertainment focused instead of sports focused. ESPN is now part of the theater production of WWE. Announcing on their "sports" programs the inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame.

This is nothing new for ESPN as they used to have a weekly AWA program. But the WWE has gotten so over the top especially the last couple of weeks that it is insulting and hard for you to suspend your reality enough to follow the story lines.

Last week was bad enough when they had Strowman pull over a large structure on top of Kane and Lesner. But they go and top that this week by having Strowman get pissed over getting fired and turning over a semi tractor.

Sure there are those who live in the basement of their parents house and eat drink and sleep everything WWE with the mind of a kid and buy into this. I use to love to go to Hooters during the PPV event just to see these people and how they reacted over the matches.

But it is starting to get so far over the top that ESPN is losing what little credibility they still have by being a part of the lead up to WWE Hall of Fame Induction.

Well then i am looking forward to Thursday Night Movie reviews where ESPN previews the coming attractions available to the masses at the drive in. .

Or maybe Saturday Night ESPN Got Talent Where contestants compete in song and dance to woo the ESPN audiences.

And surely they will have their yearly Oscars preview show where they go over their favorites for the Oscars each year.

Hell if you are going to go away from the Sports aspect of ESPN why not go all the way.

I'm hip. ESPN goes for the lowest common denominator, like most every cable channel.
