I get your 4-5 win expectations. Based on past performance and how slowly this rebuild process is taking in SM, your expectations are probably in line with how we'll do.

Me personally, I want to see at least 6 wins. This is year 3 for EW. We don't play in the strongest G5 conference in the Nation. So I see no reason for EW not to hit at least 6 wins.

That said, it IS The Bobcats I'm talking about . . . so disappointment comes with the territory.

"should go"...did you all miss that? The WINS section I listed for GS all SHOULD be wins...GS has more talent than any of those teams listed, fact. Can Lunsford leverage that talent properly...remains to be seen. GaSt catches GS in the worst down-slide in program history and thinks they've done something...now that's laughable.

Not sure about that part. GS has good enough talents to compete for sure, but your assumption that GS's players are just flat out better than other mid-tier SunBelt teams is....homerish to be blunt. Fritz era recruiting was a long time ago my friend.

Very laughable. That would be a heck of a turn around.

Hope springs eternal. We were in great shape until the disastrous Summers hire. I m not convinced next year will be a complete 180 turnaround. My hope is we get to 6-6 and a bowl

I didn't watch that one but I think it was a total mismatch. That and it seemed the dam collapsed after playing close against others. That was the worst performance of the year. Plus a great Troy team.

I would hope for 6 but since Withers claims this as year 2 and not 3, I doubt it will happen. He gave himself a mulligan the first year and the AD nodded.
