Well seeing as how I didn't start this thread, nah that's not what I'm saying...

I listened to the interview. I think he vastly underestimates the media s[]!tstrorm that his hiring would cause and I'm not sure he is ready for it. I say that because his wife and kids will have hear it all over again..and again. He came across to me as still emotionally wobbly but desperate to get back into the limelight. Either that or he is a pathological liar that already has a burner phone. Given that he came forward before it was public would make you think its the former.

I think there will be more said about the players getting paid than his liking to hire the occasional hooker

Freeze to Bama in some capacity is in the works. Perfect place to go to revive a tainted career. He'll be a HC in no time...

I do wonder once the stink wears off (give it a year) and he wins a championship under Saban if fans here would still hate the idea of him being the coach should Norvell get hired away

Can't speak for all fans, but for me it's a yes. We can do much better. And it's not just his behavior at Ole Miss, many knew about sh$t he did before Ole Miss, including Briarcrest.

And when you look at his whole record, it ain't all that. And he and his coaches blatantly cheated to get the best players. Any evidence he can get players at a place like Memphis without cheating?

Last, to me, it's different than a Petrino or a Cal cheating, we expect them to cheat. But this cheating, pervy behavior, hiring hookers . . . while every day preaching to the world what a great Christian he is - no thanks. Religious con men are the worst.
