Things like this? That's slicker than owl shat? If a bullfrog had wings he wouldn't bump his azz? That boy is steppin in some high cotton?
It's no big step for a high stepper? Those were some of my dad's sayings.

So a potential snow day at the university qualifies as a TR relevant thread start on the D-F SPORTS Forum?

Keep working on it George

PRICELESS

We have discussions on this forum about our university and the goings-on there all the time. And as far as finishing school... I've got MY masters. How 'bout you... 07-coffee3
04-cheers Hey George, please know that this is just a joke on you but someone told me that you took a fishing class and got your Master's in baiting hooks. Doesn't that make you a Master Baiter ?

Snowing now at Crowder MS & cold as a witch's ...........

Love me some Crowder MS. Used to drop Sunday papers for that whole area. They still have panthers down there? Being serious

Much like has now been confirmed in W TN, there are unsupported/unconfirmed sightings of mountain lions in the Tallahatchie River bottoms (and bear too). But black panthers as in the Everglades are likely only myth. But pretty good duck hunting in the eastern delta down toward Charleston MS! BTW, our Memphis team has grown some followers down this way due to the success of Henderson & Goodson.

The TWRA has officially admitted that cougars are in Tennessee and it seems likely that black panthers would be, too. I'm still certain the attacks in Cordova a few years ago were a cougar, as was the video take on Highway 64.

I taught at a comm. college up here for years. One class was 3 hrs. once a week on Monday night. We got MLK day off and then for 3 straight weeks had bad snowstorms on Mondays and they cancelled class. Didn't meet up with that class until well into February.

Since this has turned into a wildlife/weather thread--I'll be going snowshoeing north of here up around Duluth in a few weeks where the woods are thick with bears, wolves, moose, and an occasional mountain lion. Last year I was charged by a moose on the trail. He stopped short, so I was ok, just needed a new pair of pants, lol

Looks like 2 1/4" so far in Somerville. I assume Classes have been cancelled, but I haven't checked the news.

All campuses of u of m are closed. I figured they would cancel the game tonight but no word yet.

This ain't HS.
