Remember the news when former Pastner friend Ron Bell made a bunch of accusations awhile back. It led to a NCAA cloud hanging over Paz...and his new program over at Georgia Tech.

According to the USAToday...Josh has filed a defamation suit against Ron Bell and his girlfriend...claiming extortion.

Bell or Pastner should be allowed to clear their name. OTHO, perhaps both are guilty of something to some degree. Hopefully, the suit reveals the truth.

Depositions under oath are why this almost never happens with NCAA coaches. Calipari settled lawsuits here - I always assumed it was to avoid depositions under oath.

Wish people in other areas would follow his lead. Some of the problems we have in society today is due to people too chicken to stand up to false claims. Think about those who throw out certain terms each time they are called out on any issue. If a few of them would lose a libel/slander suit then others would not be so quick to throw out these claims
