The team will have little time to put away all the excitement and euphoria of the JMU win and be ready tomorrow at 4 PM for a big, tough, competitive
Towson team.

This CAA battle should be a tough one for our guys...Towson is, as almost every year, very physical and will be attacking us right from the start.

Let's hope Pierce's ankle is ready and we're ready to play less than 48 hours after JMU.

I'm hoping we get a large crowd tomorrow, the largest of the season thus far. Interest is high in the area and, on top of that, Girl and Boy Scouts in uniform get discounts. I'll be disappointed if we don't approach 4500 or so
to support our team.

One thing if there is a big crowd with, like JMU and Hofstra games, a big turnout of walk up ticket purchasers. There were big pileups of folks waiting to but tickets for both games and many people didn't get in until well after the games commenced. A couple near us didn't gain entry
to the Hofstra game until eleven minutes in!

Got to put on a couple of extra ticket people.

When I recently bought tickets through the office, I think they were overwhelmed. Definitely good if you can buy online and print the tickets at home. But, if you are using any Tribe Club status to get better seats that doesn't work.

Tribe comes out as 2.5 point favorites for Saturday

I had forgotten this but in doing some research on another topic, I see where BOTH Whitman and Knight fouled out in our home game against Towson last year. Knight fouled out in the away game and Whitman had 3.

Definitely can't afford Knight to pick up cheap/frustration fouls tomorrow.

Towson may have bigger bodies, but they have no depth at center, either, so, the foul situation could go either way.

Need Cole to play around 8-12 minutes and get a couple of fouls on the Towson big man guarding him plus wear down Towson some and keep Nathan fresh.

Guessing Towson would rather not fall to 2-4 in conference play. Expect them to come out like a caged animal tomorrow.

I'm qued up to be there tomorrow loud and proud to help with a little 6th man action. Who's with me?

Looking at the CAA highlight reel, Towson seems to play aggressive defense on the 3 point line, or certainly did against Hofstra. They lost that game on a buzzer 3 pointer though that was more of a dribbling heave like Tot.

Did he bug you 2000-03? I don't like his teams either.

Was it the Delaware game where they guarded against the 3 pointer tightly, and we got pretty far behind, so we switched to a lot more cutting to the basket late in the first half, and ended up winning easily?

I hate Towson. I hate their teams and I hate that they're in our conference. I'll be rooting along loudly on the other side of my tv screen.
