She has developmental issues. I don't like the constant screaming either but she is "Super Fan" and she is uniquely ours!

Overall Good Energy and concerted effort last night. I thought the Flashes did themselves proud on a regionally televised game.

This fan base never ceases to amaze me.

Beat a hated rival for a third straight time and all some people want to do is complain about a fan who wouldn't miss a game if her life depended on it.

I didn't see the game, but I liked the intentionally missed free throw. I like it when coaches from time to time do something that is unconventional. As we mentioned already, it is pretty rare to miss the rim when missing a free throw on purpose.

To me the key wasn't that he missed it, it was how he missed it. A chest pass directly into the rim as soon as he got the ball. I think it took everyone by surprise. An air ball would've been bad but ultimately no different than a make. Either way they're setting up for an inbounds with little hope of getting a shot inside the arc. So their shot would be a three for the win if he air balled it or made it. In my opinion that play call was actually the least dangerous option.

Thanks, anti-zip. I didn't see the game but what you described is even better. That would definitely throw the opponent off-guard and as you said, any shot with no time out would have been a 3-point shot so a made free throw would have only allowed OU to use a full-court play that they may have been prepared for after a made free throw.

Banshee? Really? Have you ever actually had a conversation with her or do you just judge from your chairback?
Are you a new fan? You must be since she's been attending games longer than me.
If there were 20 of her, that would be the ultimate 6th man. Its a damn basketball game, not a dinner theater.
Go sip your tea at another gym, old man.

Pump the brakes. I don’t think our new friend knew who she was. Let’s agree on two things and move forward. One, our super fan is the best super fan. Two, if you don’t know her, watch out, she’ll get into the opponents heads!. And three....Go Flashes!!!

Quick comment I meant to make the other night. Duling's shot is starting to look much better. He hit a three from the top of the key that looked really good then he hit a pair of free throws that also looked perfect. His volume is obviously very low (only 21 attempts) but he's actually tied with Avery for the second highest 3pt percentage at 33.3%. Hopefully he continues to improve as the season goes on.

One other thing I meant to say before. I really wish De La Rosa wouldn't flop. This is the second straight year he's gotten a technical against OU for flopping. First, he can't afford unnecessary fouls. Second, it's just a bad look.

Third, his time would be better served working on something like boxing out, drop steps or catching the basketball.

I HATE "the flop". If I were still coaching, I would bench a player who tried that.
