WMU Basketball to Host Doubleheader Saturday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan Basketball has its second doubleheader of the season on Saturday, Jan. 13 as women's basketball hosts Ohio at 2:00 p.m. followed by men's basketball hosting Mid-American Conference West foe Ball State at 4:30 p.m.

Women's basketball squares off with the Bobcats of Ohio who have an overall record of 8-7 and 2-2 in MAC play. The Broncos are coming off a thrilling 88-83 victory over Northern Illinois to go to 3-1 in conference play and remain a perfect 6-0 inside University Arena.

Women's tickets can be purchased at the Bronco Ticket Office, online at wmubroncos.com/tickets or by calling 1-888-4-WMU-Tix. Tickets start at just $8.

Ticket holders for the women's game can exchange their ticket stub following the game for a FREE men's basketball game ticket.

Men's Basketball squares off with MAC West foe Ball State immediately following the women's game as the Cardinals are 11-5 and 2-1 in conference play. WMU looks to grab its first MAC West victory of the season and remain atop the standings.

cmu was only MAC home team to lose today.

Attended both games. The women were never in it. The men came out fast, raining 3s, and never really looked back.
