We'd all shut up if just a couple of those listed above 200 actually sign. Then he'd have another year and a little support and we could watch his process.

Bill & Larry, Andre & Doom, EP & Cheyenne . . . Tyler & TJ?

I don't know, but I'd love to see that Memphis tandem wearing Tiger blue for the next four years. Maybe TJ likes playing with Connor, who knows? My guess is, if our current team keeps coming together, Tyler will be a Tiger.

Thank you for this. We should snag at least one or two of these guys. If we have to dive into JUCO waters again, well then maybe it may be time to hang up any hopes of real recruiting

Most? Some? No way it's all, lol.

But, yeah, we need a commit badly. Ideally, a local kid inside the top 200 (Harris).

For the record, I thought the Tubby hire was horrible from the beginning, BUT he does seem to be a good floor coach and developer of talent. If he can figure out how to recruit or hire someone who can, I think he could lead us back to the top.

Swallow pride, fire your buddies and son, get some killers who can recruit, and save your legacy and Memphis’ prestige. Let’s go, Tubby!

It would be an amazing story if he could ride off into the sunset having turned this around to sold out crowds and a top flight Memphis program

Team Tubby will not get a top 150 player they may get a 250 player and a Juco.

I guess the question is does Tubby do all the coaching or are the other guys doing a ton of the development, game planning and teaching. We assume that Tubby is the brains behind the perceived improvement.

That's just how it goes. No one blames the assistants for game planning and development when the team is playing poorly. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

That would be love-LEEE, indeed. Hopefully, the uptick in the Tigers play of late will cause a domino (or two) to fall our way.

If Harris or any recruits can't see that Tubby is a great coach and developer of talent, then let them go elsewhere.

This is also Tubby's view. He isn't going to kiss anyone's rear. Not an AAU "coach" or some snot-nosed 18 year old, that doesn't know up from down.

Coach K, Self, Calipari, Huggins don't either.

That is why they have assistants.

But the deal is if you can the poor recruiting assistants for good recruiting assistants who don't develop players are you better off...I just wish this staff would start landing some players.
