Florida Citrus Sport was typically dominated and run by Gators...a throwback to 80's and 90's when UCF was such a new school that we didn't have graduates in high level positions there...or anywhere.

Because of that, there is still an air of condescension that FCS exhibits toward UCF, though it may not be as strong as it used to be.

Alabama doesn't do away OOC games. They do one neutral site game each year against a team that is supposed to be good (not sure how Louisville applies) and play three FCS/lower FBS type teams at home.

In the last decade, Alabama has only played two true road OOC games (Penn St and Duke).

I think Duke was a favor to Cutcliffe, an alum.

They have no incentive to play a road game. Hell they wouldn't even play in Auburn until 1987. Lol. Don't feel slighted.
