In McGrath's 18 years experience at Kansas and Carolina, he couldn't compare anyone to him. That doesn't say he's the best that's ever played here, but it's his type of skill level that's so unique. Elmore will never be that kind of player. But, if he was improving as much as McGrath was saying, he would have been instrumental in shoring up strength and size down low. And the one thing he has that Cacok doesn't, is the ability to step outside and score from even three point range.

CaCock is like Rodman reincarnated

Keatts always compared him to Kenneth Faried. Which is about as close as you can get. Stats and size are very similar.

If i'm not mistaken , Faried had a more polished offensive game. But i could be wrong

Yeah, I would say you're correct. I do believe he got a good amount of his points from Offensive rebounds, but I think he could also score face fronting the rim. Which Cacok hasn't really developed that, yet. Hopefully, that is something that he can add for next year.

IMO he's gotten better this year in terms of that, thus the reason his FG% has dropped, he's taking shot a bit further out.

I've been impressed with his post moves this year. He made a nice hook shot against Northeastern. He's definitely improved his offensive game, but there is more he can to his arsenal. Especially, if he plans on playing in the NBA.

At this point, I'd be kinda shocked if he didn't at least get a decent several tryouts at a minimum. We're talking about a guy that set nearly an untouchable record for FG% as a sophomore, and now as a Junior he's leading the nation in total rebounds and RPG. A national record, and leading the nation in a significant statistical category like that and he's only a junior??? I imagine someone is gonna be paying attention to him if they're not already.

Elmore can shoot the ball, period. It doesn't matter what level you come from, if you can shoot, you can shoot. His greatest obstacle was going hard all the time. If he can play at a high intensity level, his offense isn't a problem.

I could honestly see Cacok getting a look as a tight end in the NFL. He has incredible hands, incredible timing, great speed and endurance and can leap. And at 6'7"and 240 lbs he'd be a handful. I'd like to see him paired up with Cam Newton....

Cam Newton can't hit water if he fell outta a boat. Send him some place that actually has a halfway accurate passer!
